Programme Educational Objectives of Post Graduate Programme- Machine Design

1. Graduates will have knowledge in the discipline of Machine Design with hands on skill in using modern engineering tools to address real world engineering problems and be socially responsible. 

2. Graduates shall be successful in their career as analysts and designers of structural components of conventional and advanced materials, participating in a team or individually in an industry, research or academia.

3. Graduates shall be proficient in their communication, presentation and will be prepared to engage in the process of life-long learning through professional development and research.

Analyse complex engineering problems critically, apply independent judgment for synthesising information to make intellectual and/or creative advances for conducting research in a wider theoretical, practical and policy context

Create, select, learn and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools, including prediction and modelling, to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
